My Story

My journey into energy work started almost four years ago. While that may not seem like a long time, to me it was inevitable, like a dam finally bursting open after years of weathered strain. Particularly, the exact moment I can point to was during a Ketamine treatment I was doing for a major depressive episode.

In my hazed state, I remember hearing, "You are beautiful. You are worthy." I cried. I was so filled with self-loathing, I knew I could never think such kind words about myself, to myself. In fact, to this day I believe it was one of my spirit guides that had whispered this empowering message to me.

As soon as my treatment had ended, I knew there was more to explore. I had someone recommend that I read "Anatomy of the Spirit" by Caroline Myss. It felt like a revelation, and I soon booked my first Reiki session. After, I felt like I had a thirst I could not quench, like I had been living in a desert my whole life and had just discovered an oasis.

I'd go on to get almost monthly Reiki sessions, then mixed in a past life regression, and one of my favorite experiences was a beautiful cacao ceremony that opened my heart chakra even more. Things progressed even further when my husband—then boyfriend—bought me my first tarot deck. I was obsessed. I spent hours upon hours watching videos and learning and honing my skills at readings. I realized not only was it something that I thoroughly enjoyed doing, but I was actually pretty good at it as well. I was more psychic than I had known.

Speaking of psychics, my journey deepened with the help of one. An especially talented woman I spoke with was a teacher to me. I learned so much from her, and she filled in the answers to the plethora of questions I had. Soon I knew I had to stop relying on other talented energy workers, and start listening to my own intuition. Her meditations I'd listen to religiously, and from them, my psychic abilities grew. I tell everyone I'm not a fortune teller, however, I've learned my own gift is reading energy. Sometimes it's a feeling, sometimes a picture in my head, a short clip, and even metaphors. Either way it comes to me, I've learned to lean in and listen with curiosity and openness.

Recently, I got my Reiki 1 and 2 certifications. Not for a particular reason, I just felt called to do so. I asked one of my spirit guides if this would be my new career, and he told me no. I realize now it's not the only service I am supposed to provide. That labeling myself solely a "Reiki practitioner" does my other talents a disservice. It's a part of me, a few pieces of the puzzle, but not the whole picture.

My intention is for you to connect deeply with yourself. That you learn self-trust, and you no longer carry the weight of your past. I think everyone deserves a fresh start, renewal and clarity in their life. I hope I can help :)
